Lmk if you need prayer.

9/10/25 đź’”

Jared and I close our evenings in prayer and today was heavy and heartbreaking🤍 I am no stranger to the landscape of grief so my mind revisited the unfolding events and decisions that tragedy demands
I noticed in the sky the heart as we searched for words, and it had a little bit of a crack (see the pic above)
đź’” and it seems so appropriate to recall how Jesus wept at the death of Lazarus. Yes, he would raise him up. Yes, those who believe in Christ do not grieve in the same way-we have eternallife (jn 3;16) yet grief is a universal part of life because there is death yes all will die and death will be the final enemy to be defeated. Last night at prayer, we prayed for nations missionaries under attack, and we prayed for no more violence, we prayed for the macro and the micro our beloved Jan is home with Jesus and then today happened
earlier I didn’t know about Utah and Colorado I was convicted or impressed to use the morning to pray and was praying for Utah and Colorado. Tonight has me thinking about the wide range of heartache. Our college campuses have been through our schools our homes our nation is hurting.
praying lowly prayers for our nation
we need healing from the constant conflicts, horrible evils, and vile murderers
My heartbreaks for Charlie’s wife Erika, and not only his family but all the students and parents as well who are marked by the murder today on the Utah campus, and the hate rhetoric isnt helping us heal but worship with a few burning hearts at my friends house helped
praying for all the ministers and campus servants to be filled with heavenly wisdom, grace, and strength as they comfort the bereaved and afflicted
praying for good to overcome evil each and every day
mercy in the morning in the mourning
There is one death to fear, a death without God, if you’re still reading, I’m up and I’m praying. Praying for us to be saved, and for the long table and the chair with your name on it, the place in eternity for you
promise me you will rsvp
believe on the Lord Jesus Christ 🤍

We do not fight flesh and blood.
