Another year around the Son 5.16.25
Read Numbers 17, 2 Timothy 2:20-26
Romans 15:4 AMP
For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.
When we pray we must have contrite hearts, sincere remorse for sin.
Jesus said, “But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven but was beating his breast and saying, ‘
‘God,
be merciful to me, a sinner!’ | tell you, this man went down to his home justified.” Luke 18:13-14
The friends of God are clean.
Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
2 Timothy 2:21 NIV
Sydney Lund “And the Lord’s servant, must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness.”
2 Timothy 2:24-25
These verses really hit home for me today. I have found myself getting frustrated at times that people “don’t get it” and this passage is a reminder I needed to stay patient and trust the Lord that He will work it all out in His timing and the pressure is not on me to say the right thing or be perfect. We just need to love people like Jesus did and help point them to Jesus by the way we live.
