The absolute clarification in Lev. was necessary. Clarity is so important. Especially with directions, we need it to be clear.
If I told you try throwing the laundry in a laundry machine to clean them, and so you throw them in the dryer assuming they will come out clean, they won’t.
We need a washer and a dryer, and in a particular order 😉

God has raised Jesus to life. HE IS LORD AND MESSIAH and his promise is greater. Peter on the day of Pentecost says, “The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:39 NIV
BUT what did he say right before that? What is the particular order Peter (who just moments before was filled with the Holy Spirit) gives the acutely distressed crowd? He has the fire (literally) and courage to say: “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus was revealed to take away sins, and in HIM is no sin. Christ is the superior clean, the strong encouragement we need. The cross was for us, so what must we do? We must answer the call.
But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 NET
Clean. What a glorious feeling.
And a man with leprosy came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Matt 8:2 NASB…
Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. (v3)
God is willing! God has promised!
