Another year around the Son 3.19.25
Read Exodus 15, Matthew 17:14-27
It goes from bad (trapped at the Red Sea) to worse the armies of Egypt on horseback with chariots like a stampede of terror closing in on them, to NEVER again. What a turn of circumstances! And they are filled genuinely with exuberant song.
“Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the Lord. They said, “I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously, the horse and its rider he has thrown into the sea.”
Exodus 15:1 NET
Jesus can take us from an impossible circumstance to a glorious victory. Think of Moses, Esther, Joseph, and Christ himself from the grave to the throne!

Lynda Murphy “Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing.”
Exodus 15:20 ESV
When you praise God for what He has done others will follow suit.
Zan Fiskum Just like Lynda said, take time to praise God for the great things he’d done! It’s easy to move on to the next want / need before praising God for the answered prayer.
Exodus 15:26
This I believe is the first point when we see the Mosaic covenant God is establishing with Israel. Which is conditional and based off of obedience, if you obey then you will not be sick with the diseases the Egyptians had. But we know they were unable to live up to this and in Joel 1 they encounter the locust plague. And this shows that God is faithful to do what He says He will do!
Thankful for Jesus!!
Jeremiah 31:31
The days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to[a] them,[b]” declares the Lord.
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
Sydney Lund “Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.”
Matthew 17:27
Jesus covers our debts. He doesn’t ask us to do anything that He will not provide the means to see it through.
