REST is a form of contentment, consider ‘But godliness actually is a source of great gain when accompanied by contentment [that contentment which comes from a sense of inner confidence based on the sufficiency of God].’ 1 Tim 6:6
Contentment says, ‘I have what you want me to have Lord, the friends, the esteem, the influence, the money, the time.’ It’s all enough, because God is enough. His faithfulness will carry me.
