AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR OCTOBER 8
Read Matthew 4:23-25, Matthew 8:14-17, Mark 1:21-39, Luke 4:31-44
Jesus drove out demons. How? He is direct. He is stern.
“They were amazed at his teaching, because his words had authority. “Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly. “Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him. All the people were amazed and said to each other, “What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to impure spirits and they come out!””

“When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.”
Matthew 8:16 NIV
What are we doing with our words? Are we tickling ears? YALL Preaching Jesus as perpetually pleasant and pleased? CAUSE he isn’t with demons. When Jesus sends his workers out, he tells them to drive out demons. It’s part of the job. (Hate what is evil…Romans 12:9)
He is with us and as you go, don’t forget Jesus takes it on himself, our diseases, our infirmities. He doesn’t shun our problems, nor do they perplex him. There is a solution. He does what Isaiah said he would do!
And he has authority to shut the mouths of demons.
The SON does his FATHER’S will and after reconnects by his regular prayer life. Solitude serves him, so the crowd can not sway him.
It will help us too! Get in the will of GOD and don’t get out.
Get with God, to be led by God before you are led by people AND IN ORDER to properly lead people.
