Another year around the Son 2026

Thoughts 💭 today:
The sin of Eli, visits his children. The righteous blood of Jesus falls upon God’s children and we are shown mercy. We renounce all deceit and craftiness. Adonijah couldn’t leave the thirst for personal gain alone. It cost him his life. Abiathar the priest is demoted, fulfilling the word of God to Eli for not restraining his sons from blasphemy.
Consider how long the Lord’s word of judgment over Eli and his descendants had delayed!
…which impacted Abiathar since he was related to Eli (1 Samuel 3:12–14; 1 Kings 2:27)
God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Merciful God we trust your mercy and your judgements. Amen
