Another year around the Son 4.9.25
Read Exodus 40, Hebrews 7:15-28
Jesus has been interceding and serving as high priest for every generation–the time of the apostles, the dark ages, the reformation, the years of expansion and the revolution of America, the great wars, and the great depression, to the years you and I were born. Now, CONSIDER how much wisdom and perspective he offers us.
Nothing he does is out of date, there is no expiration on the fresh work of the cross, Jesus the indestructible serves perpetually in absolute perfection constantly making us righteous.
He is able to serve the generations after us as well.
We trust you LORD with our children and siblings.
Wash us, as we approach. “Moses and Aaron and his sons would wash their hands and their feet from it. Whenever they entered the tent of meeting, and whenever they approached the altar, they would wash, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.”

Jesus words have the cleanest effect on us.
His word washes.
that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.—Ephesians 5:26-27
John 15:3
