Call us to rejoice in Thee
“We saw his star in the east -Now we have come to worship him.” Matt. 2:2
I wrote this in an email to some friends back on December 19th, 2011. We just recently had the honor of hearing Miriam a woman who witnesses in the Middle East. She spoke of a Muslim woman’s conversion. The Muslim woman was wanting to stop the Christians in her area from
spreading the gospel so she decided to attend their meetings to bring a halt to the influence of this missionary family. However, so much love and kindness met her in this missionary family that she couldn’t help but continue to attend.
After some time had passed and relationship had been established…the following unfolded for this eastern woman.
They (the missionary couple) chose to invite her to a special communion supper on the beach. She was a dear to accept and even agreed to read the passage out of the Bible about the “Last Supper”. As she was reading the passage everyone on the beach faded away and she encountered Jesus and that exact upper room. The Muslim woman said she had never felt dirty before, but in the Presence of Jesus she wanted to run and hide her condition. (Romans 3:23) Then the Lord spoke “hope” to her. He said I didn’t bring you here to run away but to come near. Take and eat of my body!

Jesus offers you this perfect righteousness; in Him you may stand and hear God say, “You are all fair, my love.” There is no spot in me. Do you thus look to Jesus? Do you believe the record that God has given concerning Him? Do you receive Christ with open arms? Do you cry, “My Lord and my God;” my Surety—my all? Dear friend, do not tarry. Eternity may be near. Now is your best time, perhaps your only time, of closing with Christ. How many worlds would a lost soul in hell give for such an opportunity of cleaving to Christ as you have now! “He that has the Son has life.” This is all my prayer and desire for your precious, precious soul.”
