Earth and Heav’n reflect Thy rays
“Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard.” Luke 1:11-13
Numbers 14:5 Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there.
Our Father God we trust our prayers are heard. And Lord we are never too dignified. Silence us, slay us, lay us in our own manger of low standing. Let our eyes be open to the HOLY around us as we pray.
ZEPHANIAH 1:7 NIV Be silent before the Sovereign Lord, for the day of the Lord is near. The Lord has prepared a sacrifice; he has consecrated those he has invited. Thank you Lord that you don’t always require words when you invite us into prayer. (Matt 6:7) Help me to show up with faith. Thank you Lord that you prepared the sacrifice so that we don’t have to feel guilt when we come into prayer. Thank you Lord that you have consecrated us, and through Jesus we are clean, we are not contaminated. Amen
Jesus tells Peter, “You are clean, but not every one of you” in John 13:10 and this prior to his betrayal. And Luke 21:33 is true, MY WORDS WILL NOT PASS AWAY. Friend, HIS WORD will come to pass.
Father, thank You for the reconciliation that You authored between You and me through Your Son and Spirit! Thank you that You continued to author that reconciliation between Yourself and many members of my family as well as between my family and me! Thank You that You wiped our slates clean by way of the cross and that we have tasted of that reconciliation here on earth by the power of Your Spirit at work within us! I thank You Father that reconciliation is Your business and that You desire for all to be reconciled to You and each other! I agree with my brothers and sisters for reconciliation to spread through each of our families and even further through the Church body and into the world! We ask that this reconciliation spreads in such a depth that is beyond all that we could ask or think or imagine, in Jesus’ name, amen! —Samantha Stitt

2 Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
