Read 1 Kings 1-2, Psalm 37, 71, 94

Jesus embodies the attitude of psalms 37 while he’s on trial and falsely accused he does not FRET. His trust in the Father astounds while the evil being done to him is prolific! Jesus preached the kingdom of God on earth, and coming soon it will be fully established as it is in heaven.

Currently we await the final enemy of God to be dealt with! Reader beware while I was researching God’s enemies I found Philippians 3:17-21. It’s here we understand that many live as enemies of the cross of Christ— those whose gods are their bellies and those whose minds are set on earthly things. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY, is a flat tire on the roadside of faith. ME MYSELF AND I MUST BE submitted like Christ to God’s will. The IN OUR FACE actual enemy of God is the devil and his angels according to Matthew 25:41 and according to 1 Corinthians 15:26 the final enemy to be conquered is death. Jesus showed us that victory over death is guaranteed. SO WE TOO CAN TRUST GOD.

Solomon’s rule and leadership of the kingdom is firmly established when the enemies of the house of David are dealt with. Justice comes to JOAB and it’s without mercy. Solomon as a son serves his father‘s will. Similarly JESUS served his father’s will. Thankfully for us GOD’s will is mercy and pardon. HOW WONDERFUL! And because JESUS submitted to the FATHER, we have reconciliation with THE FATHER and we are God’s children, and we can do his will.

“My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long— though I know not how to relate them all. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone. Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.”
