AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR MAY 18
Read Psalm 131, 138, 139, 143, 144, 145

The end of the Psalms are building in volume of praise and exaltation! Can you feel the rise of the kingdom in their ongoing praises? It keeps getting better.
Revival in families is smack straight on the page and in plain sight in Psalm 145. The greatness of God should be in our Grandpa’s stories, or at least from a mother to her children. It’s simple. We are to tell the upcoming generation about the works of God. It is paramount. It’s is supreme. It is the chief of all things a generation should be told. Tell them how great God is at your nightly tuck in, or after early release on the way home. And if you’re not a mother, you are a mentor! There is always someone younger to invest in.
We are to tell the younger ones around us. Tell them what only GOD could do, and DID DO for you. Tell your God stories. Joyfully sing! Sounds like summer camp to me.
Recently I had this awesome dream where I was reading the Bible and I saw the words on the page and then I reached through the words and grabbed the spiritual seed. These are not words to be read they are to be grasped and laid hold of, this is how we are to live. Next time you’re reading imagine plunging your hand into the seeds of heaven and filling your hand with seed for the day to scatter to plant into the soil of those around you. Psalm 97:11, is a powerful promise, as is Ezekiel. “I will build the ruined places and plant that was desolate; I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.” Ezekiel 36:36
Break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.Hosea 10:12
“Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness.”
Psalms 145:3-7 NIV
LYNDA MURPHY “Light is sown [like seed] for the righteous and illuminates their path, And [irrepressible] joy [is spread] for the upright in heart [who delight in His favor and protection].”
Psalms 97:11 AMP
I love imagining this verse in my mind. What does it look like for the Father to fling seeds of light & joy with generosity to illuminate your life?
