Another year around the Son 2026
In the daily reading plan we read 1 Kings 10-11, Matthew 12:22-37

Solomon’s words were good choice words, yet even still he fell away. Even thought no question was too complex for his wisdom. (1 Kings 10:3 NET)
You’ve heard the saying talk is cheap. And yes we must be attentive with how we speak. It is so common to denigrate others for a sensational effect. Clicks for hellish tricks. And saying we believe isn’t enough. It’s the taste not the marketing label. Mush fruit is mush fruit. Titus 3:10, Jude 1:19 are clear certain actions show a person is devoid of the Spirit.
James says that even the demons believe and tremble (James 2:19) so there must be more.
Faith without works is dead. Faith is a direction you walk in, you must actually walk, not merely say yes yes Christ is the Savior. You must be with Christ. Take his nature into yours, his yoke upon you and give unto you the fruit of the Spirit. And this superior fruit is self evident. It is not divisive it rather gathers with Christ. (Matthew 12:30) Reason and reciting choice words won’t do. Just as reading a recipe doesn’t make the meal. You must do the thing.
Solomon gazes out towards the pilgrim. The one set on traveling towards the heavenly city and Solomon from an upper terrace, a beautiful palace, pillars hewn and gold in abundance he urges you keep going. Mark his face, his eyes, it is a prison palace of many foreign women, and he warns us, hangs his head, looks down and says, do not turn in here.
See Proverbs 5:8, 7:25-27
A glimpse of what I’m up to. 🧡
Praying for our nation is fruitful 🍊🍑once more. February 1st Jared and I prayed in the oldest mission, Cataldo, in the Pacific Northwest. On March 1 (this Sunday) you may have see the announcement our legislature of Idaho has now called a statewide day of prayer and fasting. The Lord is as work! 🙌🏼
“Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is known by its fruit.”
