The author Victor Hugo animated the power of mercy in the story of convict Jean Valjean, the protagonist in Les Miserables. This rough and vile convict is changed into an honest man by the mercy of a true bishop. We have obtained this same character changing mercy. 1 Peter 2:25 KJV For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
When corruption chokes the church it becomes outwardly righteous but inwardly far from it! Matthew 23:28

Bildad the Shuhite doesn’t intimidate Job even with his direct line to Abraham through his son, Shuah (Genesis 25:1–2). Bildad’s speeches highlight the rigidity of justice under God’s domain and rule. In contrast Job lives under the reality of suffering while holding a persevering conviction of redemption in God, I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES. Job 19:25 NET
Luke 12:8 stands as a stronghold of hope for those in suffering, and for all who profess and believe in Jesus. Goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6
