AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR DECEMBER 21

Read 2 Timothy 1-4

How good are you at walking away from vain arguments?

🤬🥵😳 “Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭23‬-‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Lord help! 🧨
Praying we are each able to get out of the trap, of arguing.
Praying we are all a little slower to anger! (Psalm 86:15, Proverbs 15:18)
Slow like turtles rather than rabid rabbits when it comes to getting angry.

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. 2 Tim 4:2-4

Lord give us the Spirit to keep this charge!
