AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR AUGUST 3
Read Zephaniah 1-3

Zephaniah is a person of considerable social standing in Judah, and he is like the fourth generation descendent of Hezekiah. He prophesies judgement during the reign of King Josiah.
Material wealth is nothing before the judgment of GOD. The prophet offers a window of escape, ‘seek the Lord‘ Zephaniah 2:3
With God there is justice against the proud and there is redemption for the humble. And when the judgment stops the exultant nation rejoices. Instantly my mind replays video footage of streets filled with shouts and cheers after World War II had ended. During World War II, there was a humble intercessor Rees Howells. If you ever get a chance to read his book, it will strengthen you and your faith. You will believe God answers prayer. Have faith seek the Lord!
Air Chief Marshal Lord, Dowding, Commander-in-Chief of Fighter Command in the Battle of Britain: “Even during the battle one realized from day to day how much external support was coming in. At the end of the battle one had the sort of feeling that there had been some special Divine intervention to alter some sequence of events which would otherwise have occurred.” Rees Howells Intercessor
Shout for joy, oh, daughter of Zion! Shout in triumphs, oh, Israel! Rejoice and exult with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem— The Lord has taken away His judgements against you, He has cleared away your enemies, The King of Israel, the Lord is in your midst; You will fear disaster no more. Zephaniah 3:14-15
