Vegan (Creamy) Cheese Sauce

This is for a white cream sauce, great in Potato Salad, or over pasta!

1 cup unsalted raw cashews

1 cup hot H2O

1 cup plant milk

1/2 cup almond flour

1/8 cup liquid aminos

1 cap full apple cider vin

1 quarter of a jalapeno

Juice of 2 lemons

1-2 t. liquid smoke (if you have it)

salt to taste

 

Soak the cashews in in the H20 for 30-40 min (or if you have a really strong blender omit). Place all other items in your blender and blend until creamy.  If you want it thicker add more cashews or almond flour.  If I want it thin for over pasta I’ll add more plant milk.
