As God is exalted to the right place in our lives a thousand problems are solved all at once.  -A W Tozer

This fall as you road trip to games, baby showers, gatherings let the holiness of God overwhelm.  Don’t be underwhelmed by the majesty of God.  Glory in Him.  In the early church, specifically Peter and John faced threatening struggles and yet when they gathered for prayer they approached the Lord.  The untainted, undefiled, Creator God saying with one accord who God is.

Acts 4:23 When they had been released, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them. 24And when they heard this, they lifted their voices to God with one accord and said, “O Lord, it is You who MADE THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH AND THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IS IN THEM.

The undefiled goodness of God refreshes them.  His character sustains.

They were aware of the character of God.  They had been eye witnesses to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  Encounter with the HOLY God was normal.  His reply abundant.
Acts 4:31And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

They let the nature of God change them.  Pray with me, Hallowed be Your name.
