John 3:17 (English Standard Version)
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Jesus Christ is Lord. He is worthy. He is Holy. His thoughts of good towards you cannot be numbered. What we can number was His body amongst the sinners as they counted him in our place (1 for 1). His life for mine. In order to make all things new God took upon himself death in exchange for my eternal life. I was reading the book “The hole in our Gospel” and it quoted studies showing that the more volume of suffering we see, the less likely we are to respond. Noted was the truth if we see one life we will be more apt to reply, to hear, to be moved to compassion. God is infinite in His ways, are past our understanding. He can see the masses and yet be moved by the one. Consider Christ was moved by your heartache, your life, your tears, your sin, your pain, your love was worth the cross.
Then he just blows past earthly limits and sees the whole, the whole of humanity. The terrible suffering of children in Haiti, South Africa, Uganda, Mozambique…India, Asia, and then farther still all of the children throughout time, all who will ever be, and He is moved to the most costly action for God so loved the world!
Jesus steps out of the boat onto the shores of humanity and heals, helps, raises life from death. He offers a life He deems worth dying for mine, yours. Be touched by His presence today.

He sees the insignificant need, as well as the all encompassing need of our humanity and dares to make all things new! Replacing our sin, for righteousness, our sickness for health, our iniquity for peace. Consider oh the great gift of God. Oh the blood of Jesus, it still moves me. Let it move you.
Matthew 14:14 (English Standard Version)
14When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
