Let the sweet thoughts and meditations of God’s goodness nourish and satisfy.

Psalm 90:14 (New Living Translation)

14 Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love,
so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.

My thoughts are of late on atmosphere.

Do you bring the real captivating sweetness of heaven where you live?
I was taken to the ER this last week, with heat exhaustion- as the ER room spun with activity and urgency I was watching the world in a different way. An old man with burns to my right, another aged man who had suffered a stroke to my left. Shattered glass, hurried help, and general ER protocol all were going on at once. The atmosphere was a storm. The TV program was rape, and heightened drama combined with murder all going on before the three of us in that room. My heart rate was racing as is with heat exhaustion, the tension of what I was viewing did not bring calm.
Respectfully I asked the show to be turned off, I asked the nurse if they believed to pray. I asked my boys to recite the verse we had been working on. (Philippians 4:8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.)Slowly a shift in the atmosphere began and the climate around me changed. Calm, healing, peace began to settle upon us.
What climate are you under? Take stock of your atmosphere. Is a change required?
Are you free in your walk with Christ? What are your thoughts fixed upon? Pause for a moment and breathe the life of Christ into your lungs. He is the source. He is the life- it is you and I that must draw from Him.

Acts 17:24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything.
Receive life from Him. He gave you breath. And yet often we surround ourselves with pollutants filling our world with chaos and flith. Lusting for entertainment, in the moments when we should be calling on Christ. Desire the Holy Sprit. Say with me, Come Holy Spirit. Let the richness and sweetness of His presence satisfy you.

Galatians 6:14
For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate. Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do—submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life! All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God—his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!
When you and I connect to the cross of Christ, we surge with freedom. Peace and mercy wash over us cleansing us from the decay of sin and shame.
The blood of Jesus never fails me. It is the source of my life- the fountain of the Holy Spirit and Christ’s blood flow in you and I to nourish the abundant life. Joy and laughter fills our homes. Love is a blanket we sleep under. Gentleness and goodness reign in us. This river of life- the Holy Spirit- tastes good. He hydrates my life, and quenches my thirst.
Let the Spirit flow unhindered. Be mindful of the atmosphere your in.
Bless you- Charity
