AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR NOVEMBER 11
Rest day.

The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing. Isaiah 14:7
Early morning light in November, the drink of bold lapis sky
Bread folded, soft, and shaped with care, served warm with honey on porcelain plate
Southern flock of geese in flight, too many to count and yet no sound is heard
Colder nights and gathered blankets, hearth is lit with amber fire light none dare look away
The table and the kettle roaring hot, warmth is still here when summer is not.
