Instead of standing for up for JESUS THE INNOCENT Pilate wants to satisfy the crowd. Following the crowd is a danger to personal integrity. The strength of our integrity is often tested when the tensions to compromise weaken our resolve. Where do you need strength? Stay the course today. Jesus will not compromise the plan of God to save us. (Luke 22:42)
Mocked and hit in the head with a staff, Jesus the good shepherd shows the world the evils of injustice. The irony of being hit with a staff used to protect sheep 🐑 is not lost on me.
