These are the words of Jesus, ‘see to it you are not alarmed, the one who stands firms to the end will be saved, this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world, as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.’ ‘Keep watch because you do not know on what day your Lord will come’ ‘you will bear testimony to me’ ‘I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.’ ‘Stand firm and you will win life’
‘Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life’
‘Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man’
