AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR OCTOBER 13
Read Matthew 12:22-50, Mark 3:22-35, Luke 8:19-21, 11:14-54
Ministry for Jesus took a turn. He has now been accused of using demons to drive out demons. He is bombarded with questions trying to find fault in something he would say.
Every turn there is an easy excuse, ie a good reason to quit to back down, and Jesus doesn’t quit.
It goes from bad to worse, yet Jesus is still serving them. He is driving out demons for them. He is teaching them, even though they are looking not for God but a reason to reject and trap Jesus.
I’m so grateful Jesus didn’t quit. Especially when his family came asking for him. He stayed the course following the Father’s voice alone!
Lord I too long to follow the Father’s voice alone!’

Let us resolve to do God’s will!
