Jesus my Righteousness 🤍

“But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would have turned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds.”

“Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23:22, 29‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Jeremiah goes on to see two baskets of figs, one good one bad.
The good are the people God will give a heart to know him, a fully returned heart to God.
It’s amazing how the Lord actually says it’s good for us makes us better people when our hearts are turned towards the Lord. Have you experienced this?
In the New Testament we judge a tree by its fruit. And here in Jeremiah’s day God was using the same illustration.
Praying each of us are good fruit today.
Also God’s word is fire, it’s completely life changing. God can and will break the strongholds. Utterly. Completely. You will see the authority of God especially on his word. HE HAS THE AUTHORITY to do what he says HE WILL DO. Send the fire Lord. Amen
