AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR JUNE 1

Read Proverbs 13-16

You could spend a lot of time in the proverbs of Solomon. Mainly we read instructions for speaking to calm anger, find protection, instruct, and acquire KINGLY favor. In proverbs 13:2 it says from the fruit of their lips people enjoy good things.
And then again in 14:3 it says the lips of the wise protect them.
Proverbs 15:1 it speaks of a gentle answer turning away wrath, in verse 2, a tongue adorned with knowledge, in verse 4 a soothing tongue, in verse 8 the prayer of the upright pleases God. In chapter 16 verse 13 it says kings take pleasure in honest lips and 16 verse 21 it says gracious words promote instruction.

In James 3:9-10 we are reminded that with our tongues we praise the Lord and with it we curse human beings who have been made in God’s likeness and it further says out of the same mouth come blessings and cursing. My brothers and sisters this should not be.

Matthew12:36 is directly from Jesus. He says that we will have to give an account on the day of judgment for every empty word spoken.

Also don’t mind mess or two!

“The only clean stable is an empty stable. So if you want the work of an ox and to enjoy an abundant harvest, you’ll have a mess or two to clean up!”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭14:4‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Messes are a part of life eh? Uh huh the more work being done the more being accomplished the more room for all sorts of fiascoes:))
But the more people you let into your life and work there is more merriment and the joy and the enriching strength it is.
I like to say the more people in my house the more dishes:))
So I might as well learn to enjoy dishes:))
