AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR APRIL 7
Read 1 Samuel 21-24, Psalms 91
A warrior eats. You don’t go to battle on nothing. A biblical example of this is when David ate the showbread he didn’t wait– he was hungry and he was like I have to have the nourishment I need.
The word of God is an all you can eat buffet! COME AND EAT…everybody’s got a hungry heart…
If you have eaten from HIS table you know… Exodus 14:14 the battle is the Lord’s.
David says to Saul ‘who am I but a dead dog…’ his humility and reverence for the LORD stops Saul’s murderous intentions. 1 Samuel 24:14-18
Later in his life Jonathon’s son, Mephibosheth will say this same phrase to David when HE is KING.
Mephibosheth bowed low out of respect and said, “Who am I, your servant, that you should care about a dead dog like me?” 2 Sam 9:8
Humility and reverence are character qualities of those who know the provision of God’s table. God has enough for us. I don’t fight for what is promised.
God is good. He takes the time to fix you proper. Trust his HAND in your life, trust HIS heart for you.
If you are still reading, this is true, But the Lord is with me as a dread champion [one to be greatly feared]; Therefore my persecutors will stumble and not overcome [me]. Jer 20:11a
Jesus name Emmanuel, is GOD with us. He died to personally help you. His gift of life is that powerful. He will help. His delays are to be trusted. His timing is to be trusted. 🤎
Psalm 91:2 AMP I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”
