AWAKE BIBLE IN A YEAR MARCH 2

Read Numbers 21-24

Balaam is mentioned in the New Testament in 2 Peter 2:15 as an example of one who loved the wages of wickedness.

We walk straight and Balaam didn’t. God has spoken and he persisted in asking the question again when the wages were more appealing. Then the Lord says go, but he is angry with him, God respects free will so much and though Balaam says he will only do what God wants his path is described as reckless.

God speaks through a donkey. And it takes a donkey to gain the attention of Balaam to hear emphatically the command of God to only do what he is told. God wastes no effort of communication. Balaam needed this warning.

Lord Balaam could see clearly and hear clearly after you brought your word to him. Help our sons and daughters, friends and family and our very own lives to appreciate, and to put high value on your hearing your word.

Jesus is prophetically announced in this blessing, from numbers 24:17, the star shall come from Jacob. It’s all been about the dominion of his kingship, and we see this referenced in Rev. 22:16 by Jesus——THE BRIGHT and morning star.
How much it has all HUNG upon the rightful leader and son of David. How much we ALL look to Jesus, the only one worthy and the highest KING.
So if HE says do not be dismayed, DO NOT : ) Amen.
