AWAKE MICRO PRAYER MOVE IN GOD
ICE BREAKER: SHARE A MOVING EXPERIENCE OR STORY.
I have moved a ton in my life! Even when we lived in the same area it was never the entire time in the same house. When we left our home town of roughly 18 years we had sold our house and had no place to live for a month until our next home was ready. It was a drive with the dogs and the teenagers 4 hours east. We unloaded everything in storage. With no home and just a month of supplies we headed north to Canada. We were on our own Exodus from Washington. A leaving all the comforts, to go. And because we had sold our home we had enough for the expenses.
Since 2020 and work from home options radically thrown upon the world work force, many are moving. Relocating to areas more rural, areas of opportunity, areas of peace. Families are in search of better options for their loved ones. A place we can call home, a residence to rest.
God is looking for a place to rest as well.
Ephesians 3:16-17a “I PRAY, Paul writes, “that out of his glorious riches (GOD) may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
The word dwell is worth a second glance. Pray for Christ to really take up residence. Trust Christ has moved in. How do we know if Christ has really moved in?
2 Corinthians 1:22
NEW LIVING TRANSLATION And He has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the 1st installment that guarantees everything He has promised us.
NEW INTERNATIONAL Set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our heart’s as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
It really will get good ahead. God really has chosen you. You really will be strengthened. Your evidence is the last time you had an experience of God’s Spirit, when you felt chills and the infilling of the Spirit. Spoke with new tongues. Felt the fire of God pour out upon you. God is sending His glory to rest on your life. It’s made clear in Colossians 3 CHRIST WILL DWELL IN YOU RICHLY, as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through Psalms, Hymns, and SONGS from the SPIRIT, when you sing unto God with gratitude in your hearts.
RICHLY. MORE THAN ENOUGH. GOD has enough. God is enough. Phil 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Supply is PLEROO to make full, to fill up, to fill to the full to cause to abound to furnish or supply liberally.
In whatever Exodus you are in right now, leaving depression, leaving mental anguish, leaving fear, leaving bondage GOD IS rich enough to pay the bill. The glory of the work of Christ has not tapped out. It’s enough to break the addiction. It’s rich enough to do whatever is needed. The expense has been paid to fully renovate and restore your life.
Love this reminder to look back at ways God has filled us , he is faithful through and through . This message today was so relevant , I have had 3 close friends in my “tribe” tell me this week they are moving out of state within the next 2-6 months . It is heartbreaking for us but I know God has also called them to a place of peace and to be more near to family like when I moved home to WA. I feel like this time period is an “exodus of friendships “ if you will and having to rediscover who else nearby to invest my time and love into .
