What stops us from being all in for Christ?

You’ve heard it said, “It’s not who is going to let you, it’s rather who is going to stop you?”

Today I want to breakdown the barriers and unstop the road blocks.  I’m asking God to free you from the stuck place in your walk with Christ.

The sorrow I feel, the cold hearted love, the apathy toward my well being, the depression at my circumstances, the cancer, the grief, the discouragement, the lack of support, the overwhelming family needs, the lack of friends, the nagging insecurity, the judgment I feel, the sexual confusion, the betrayal, the financial lack, the rebellion, the constant addiction, the storm I’m not sure I’ll survive… OH GOD ISAIAH 43 that thing and make a way. In JESUS NAME!
Today let me remind you of your foundation.  You must recognize in Jesus you are chosen.  You were chosen in your sin and in your youth when you couldn’t even say the name of Jesus without swearing, HE CHOSE YOU.  You were chosen when you were all in on the world and it’s ways of self advancement and self importance.  You were chosen when you were to shy to share His love with your family.  You were chosen when you felt the least of all the options out there.
Today we will declare Ephesians 2:19 over your life!
YOU ARE NO LONGER STRANGERS AND OUTSIDERS,
YOU ARE NOT ALIENATED BUT RATHER ARE DRAWN CLOSE.
YOU ARE NOT A REFUGEE AWAITING ENTRANCE INTO GOD’S KINGDOM, INTO GOD’S HOUSE.
YOU ARE BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS A CITIZEN WITH FULL RIGHTS, A SAINT AND A MEMBER OF GOD’S HOUSEHOLD GRAFTED INTO LIFE BY THE POWERFUL GRACE OF GOD.
Isaiah 43:10-11
“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,
“and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
I, even I, am the Lord,
and apart from me there is no savior.
19See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
THE WILDERNESS AND THE WASTELAND STOP US FROM BEING ALL IN, SOLD OUT FOR CHRIST.
The Stuff that Stops us:
  1. sin, temptation, and transgression  YES HERE IN THE PLACE YOU FALL AND FAIL GOD SAYS I AM MAKING A WAY
  2. death and loss TO THIS GOD SAYS I AM MAKING A WAY
  3. betrayal and drama IN THIS GOD SAYS I AM MAKING A WAY
    Psalm 37:5-6 Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him and he will do this:
    He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
    your vindication like the noonday sun.

    Make a clean break from the things that make you feel incapable, like a hot mess, or unworthy. Just in case you haven’t heard it today you are capable and brave after everything to keep going.  Your ability to move forward through it all is astounding.

  4. sickness, anxiety, addiction EVEN HERE GOD SAYS I AM MAKING A WAY
JESUS IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.
John 14
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Jesus the Way to the Father
 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Your SAVIOR HAS a redemptive plan. It’s not in your circumstances, in your friendships, in your family, in your church status, in your occupation, that you find redemption.  It is only in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 1:7 In HIM we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
Therefore remember that you who are not in by the so called in, you who have been excluded and without hope and without God CAN BE ALL IN.
