Have you ever wondered how to do your own verse by verse study?
First ask yourself the question what is the main point and rewrite it in your own words.
The Kingdom of God what it is and what it is not.
Then begin to break it down.
Identify the Kingdom. It’s not a list of eating and drinking customs.
It will always produce righteousness.
We are moving away from the Kingdom as we move into either self righteousness or sin.
Peace. Often times we can quickly pull away from the kingdom of God by becoming disturbed, anxious, and frustrated.
Identify the sources in your life right now that are disturbing your peace and bring them before God.
Note anytime we move into rounds of chaos we are leaving that positional advantage of God’s kingdom. Peace is not just an attribute but also a part of the armor found and offered for each and every follower in Ephesians 6.
It is joy in the Holy Spirit. Joy bounds into your life in abundance. Yesterday while I’m driving to City Wide Worship practice I saw a massive watering pipe bubbling over with excessive water. The kingdom of God offers joy in abundance through God’s life giving Spirit.
