“I could start fires with what I felt for you.”
— (via seabelle)
The real joy of being her mama, has my full attention today. When I think of love, I don’t just consider the passionate lover kind of love. I could start fires with the fierce love I have for my children. God help us, mamas and papas! OH the love of children pushes us farther, causes more unselfish acts that can be recorded and is the source of our river tears. We ache for their best. We champion them, and cheer them on, and we SHOULD! No one else is your child’s encourager, protector, and provider. So go ahead and love them fierce. Cheer for them loud. Teach them all they’ll need to know. The water of your unselfish love will help your babes grow up strong and kind and good.
When that love burns strong in you, remember you are His child and His love is even stronger still.
Psalm 103:13 As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe].14 For He knows our frame, He [earnestly] remembers and imprints [on His heart] that we are dust.
