Wild-erness

Where do you find freedom? Where do you go to cut the harshness of life?
Where do you go that is the counter-culture you’re gasping for in your lungs?
Outside is a landscape of refuge and restorative beauty.  Not a beauty purchased or sweat born but a wild beauty.
Pressures and demands will kill your creativity if gone unchecked, unfiltered by the wild landscapes to subdue them.
Christ found the Father’s communion and direction most clear away from the crowds.
John who baptized was founded in God lived his call as a man out in the wild.
John the Baptizer appeared in the wild, preaching a baptism of life-change that leads to forgiveness of sins. People thronged to him from Judea and Jerusalem and, as they confessed their sins, were baptized by him in the Jordan River into a changed life. John wore a camel-hair habit, tied at the waist with a leather belt. He ate locusts and wild field honey. (Mark 1:4-6 MSG)
I am not recommending you eat locusts however wild honey does sound good.
Attentive reader, the true move of God that introduced Jesus (our freedom) was founded by a man wild with God, set apart to His name.
