What are the things I am devoted to in my daily routine?
Where are the priorities? Especially when time is a highly prized commodity. What makes you chose the routine of your day? This is your life, are you choosing the better way? If something is your gift, what makes you loose your devotion to it?
The piano unplayed. The instruction that would make his life clear unsaid. The hospitality gift unused. The prayer unspoken. The compliment withheld. The coaching neglected. The teaching too costly. The sharing of your resource somehow unappealing. The priority to understand God’s heart evaporated. The fullness of a devoted life forgotten.
With tears, I plead. Be devoted to each other like family- be fully alive in this life. Don’t go numb, resist the evil and overcome. Dare again and give when no gain appears. Need a bit of fuel for the restart? Here are some scriptures to feed the devoted life.

If your gift is serving, then devote yourself to serving. If it is teaching, devote yourself to teaching. If it is encouraging others, devote yourself to giving encouragement. If it is sharing, be generous. If it is leadership, lead enthusiastically. If it is helping people in need, help them cheerfully. Be devoted to each other like a loving family. Excel in showing respect for each other. Don’t be lazy in showing your devotion. Use your energy to serve the Lord. Be happy in your confidence, be patient in trouble, and pray continually. (Romans 12:7, 8, 10-12 GW)
Live creatively, friends. If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day’s out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived. Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life. (Galatians 6:1-5 MSG)
