Love gave a strong leader.

Love is leading us and with us! Jesus leads us well, our good shepherd is able to protect, nourish, guide, and direct us.

He has given his people a strong leader, someone praiseworthy for his faithful ones, for the people of Israel, the people who are close to him. Hallelujah! (Psalms 148:14 GW)

Please carve out a portion of today to take a moment to read, pray, just be in the company of God.  Let His goodness fuel you as you prepare for each task.

In our Esther study group, we have been studying the story of this brave young queen.  Raised from tragedy launched into a diplomatic and national crisis she boldly risked it all for those she called her kindred, her people.

Our Shepherd, King of Kings, knows how to lead in political turmoil.  He stood under the spiritual, and governing pressure of a people condemned bound to eternal death and held fast.  He laid his life down to the Father’s will believing by His blood many sons would come to freedom and life.

Esther, broke down after Haman was hung.   The weight of the stress she had born this far came spilling out in sobs before her King.  Yet, again he chose her.  Again mercy was extended.

Our heavenly King not only loves you but chooses you, again and again and again.
Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it]. (Hebrews 4:16 AMP)
