Walk His Way

So I was thinking about the will of God and how the will of God is full of the weight or the power to produce results. In Israel when God’s will went forth as declared by Moses with great signs, evidences, provision and awesome displays of God’s raw power were performed.
Nehemiah 9:15You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger and brought water for them out of the rock for their thirst; and You told them to go in and possess the land You had sworn to give them.
The rocks literally responded as the weight or the Presence of God rested upon Moses and the people. The Red Sea parted the whole of God’s creation responded to God’s weight and His Presence to accomplish His will. For if Israel had gone back to Egypt His weight, the pillar of fire by night and the cloud by day nor any other powerful evidence of Him would have been seen. They would have turned from the direct intentions of God and from the very Presence of God.
And so that’s why it is so important for you and I to know what God’s will is because when we walk in God’s will we walk in God’s weight, His Presence and power. In Luke Jesus heals by the power of the Lord. This healing was after a time of prayer for Christ. Often He would take time to seek the Father inquire of His will and then walk in the Father’s power.

Luke 5:17 One of those days, as He was teaching, there were Pharisees and teachers of the Law sitting by, who had come from every village and town of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was [present] with Him to heal them.

Jesus when He taught us to pray: “Our Father who is in Heaven Holy is your name your will be done” was giving us the insight into walking clothed with the power of the Lord.
The Father’s will, weight, power rested upon the Son.
John 5 :43 “I have come in My Father’s name and with His power…”
Christ walked out His life led by the Spirit implementing the will of the Father.

What about in suffering where is God’s power?
Matthew 26:42 (Amplified Bible)
42Again a second time He went away and prayed, My Father, if this cannot pass by unless I drink it, Your will be done.
When it came toward suffering Christ did not shrink from the cross he intentionally went towards the cross as God’s will propelled him forward towards suffering. (Hebrews 12:2 He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame).
In our lives sometimes it’s better to suffer than to run from the trial tribulation and let the weight of the Presence of God carry you through to the miraculous on the other side. When the church is not delivered from suffering the Presence of God is steadfast inside of her to provide strength and His specific comforts durning her trial, heartache, and suffering.
God is in the room even when the lights are off. He is with you.
Trust Him today with your trials. The Father is with you and will be in you.

2 Cor 6:18And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

Hebrews 2:11-13 (The Message)

10-13It makes good sense that the God who got everything started and keeps everything going now completes the work by making the Salvation Pioneer perfect through suffering as he leads all these people to glory. Since the One who saves and those who are saved have a common origin, Jesus doesn’t hesitate to treat them as family, saying,
I’ll tell my good friends, my brothers and sisters, all I know
 about you;
I’ll join them in worship and praise to you.
Again, he puts himself in the same family circle when he says,
Even I live by placing my trust in God.
And yet again,
I’m here with the children God gave me.
