born for glory

You were born to live, to taste the fullness of all this life. The light the hope the glory of this life is overwhelming. At times I weep, at the real love I see in Christ. The gatherings, song sung melodies, hugs unearthly full of hope, love radiant in the eyes of an orphaned child, tears of goodness in my friends who surround. We are graced by real love, real hope, real truth.
When all our days have the mark of Christ in them…when the surge of love is so clear the water’s of life so unmistakable, the goodness of God literally filling the room I’m in…something causes my heart to cry with thanksgiving.

I have hung all the hope of this life on Him, and He holds it fast. He has been with me when in trial, when in pain, when in trouble. He never leaves. He never leaves. He is so near. I live in Him. Oh yes, Christ my life.

Psalm 23
A David Psalm
1-3 God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.

4 Even when the way goes through
Death Valley,
I’m not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd’s crook
makes me feel secure.

5 You serve me a six-course dinner
right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head;
my cup brims with blessing.

6 Your beauty and love chase after me
every day of my life.
I’m back home in the house of God
for the rest of my life.
Psalm 34:7-9 (The Message)

 7 God’s angel sets up a circle
 of protection around us while we pray.

 8 Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see—
 how good God is.
 Blessed are you who run to him.

 9 Worship God if you want the best;
 worship opens doors to all his goodness.
